As the only ink study in the exhibition, this work was included to release the flower back to a conventional still life. The print originates from an original ink brush drawing that was scanned for digital production. It functions as a working study in the traditional sense — the bouquet examined strictly for its own sake, before carrying the conceptual weight of the rest of the series.
