Flowers and Drapes

This work reduces the theme to its essential confrontation: the engineered, heavy fall of fabric against a sudden, erupting burst of cut flowers. Built as a digital photomontage, the composition uses 3D fabric simulation to model the precise, structural folds of the drapery, combining them with high-resolution captures of the artist's studio canvases. Stripped of any architectural backdrop, the fracturing flora and simulated cloth are left to occupy the space alone.
