A peacock — the ultimate bird of display — attempts camouflage inside Prague's Strahov Monastic Library, a space dominated by shelves of bone-white vellum. The composition builds from two distinct whites set side by side until the visual difference between them flickers. It is both a formal tonal study and a conceptual paradox: a portrait of a creature built to be seen, wishing to vanish.
